Shape of objects: Square.
Full Description of event/sighting: Bright flying orange square with fireball inside the square about 1/3 in back of square. After the New Year's Eve celebration. Sky was dark, easy to observe. Was not fireworks. Was too high up to be fireworks and it lasted a while. Was observed for over 60 seconds moving in the sky at the speed of a distant airplay, moving steadily in 1 direction until it moved really far and went out of sight.
It caught my attention after hearing some teens yelling, UFO, UFO, and hearing another teen say that it was not a UFO, but a terror attack going to hit a target. Obviously, there were no attacks, so it was a UFO. I never saw anything like that before. Could not be fireworks unless there is something new invented out there that can make that happen.
